I took the theme of a massive monsta, grapling with a big spacehip..something that had been on my mind for a few years now..The creature is nothing specific..but i guess comparible to a walking claw?.

Well hopefully this piece gets thru, my other attempt disapppeared.

This piece was created for Competition for ImagineFX last year entitled "StemPunk". Basically built using one square brush..I remember being really happy all the way thru..its a good technique if you are not into spending ages for careful planning.

Initial work 4 hours + plus a few for tidying up later/.

for nvart competition..'Pharaoh' represents a self preservation society or culture..all basis of the "Architecture" is formed from the liquid, the eventual fully realized growth of the architecture allows for the channeling of energy to be returned back to the liquid, thus allowing the cycle to continue.

Inspired by "EON" a novel by Greg Bear..For the contest of the same name..

Design was inspired by a wood grain pattern above my shower, a good Dream help to steer this piece to the finish line..

this sure was an interesting exprerience :()
